Planning for the 2021-2022 Winter Season

What Winter Looks Like

With the safety of our guests, employees and community top of mind, we are excited to welcome you back this season with new policies and procedures in place.

Currently, we are prioritizing access to the Resort for Season Pass holders, and will not be requiring Season Pass holders to make reservations at this time.  We will control Resort visitation levels to avoid overcrowding by regulating daily lift ticket sales.  We strongly encourage our guests to purchase daily lift tickets well in advance of their visit.  This will not only secure a spot on the mountain, but will also provide the lowest possible lift ticket prices.

A successful season will require a strong partnership between Brian Head Resort, our guests, local government and health officials, and the state.  We will continue to work closely with and follow the guidance of local and state health officials and adjust policies and procedures accordingly.

What To Expect

Around the Resort

  • Guests are asked to practice social distancing by standing at least six feet away from other individuals not traveling with them.
  • Masks/face coverings are recommended indoors, on Town shuttles, and when social distancing with others outside of your travel group is not possible.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are available at several locations throughout the Resort.
  • We are disinfecting high-touch points (railings, door handles, tables, chairs, etc.) and high-trafficked areas (ticket windows, doors, restrooms, etc.) throughout the Resort more frequently.
  • Access to our indoor spaces (restaurants, restrooms, etc.) will be limited, particularly on busy days.
  • Seating capacity in our dining areas has been reduced to allow for adequate physical distancing, and we are asking our guests to please limit their time at dining tables to no more than thirty (30) minutes.
  • Lift lines will adhere to physical distancing guidelines as much as reasonably possible.
  • Purchases of lift tickets, rentals, are available online via a reloadable card, and we strongly encourage our guests to use this convenient option as follows
    • Pick up your reloadable card on your first visit, or request a card online at or call us at (435) 677-2035 and one will be mailed to you.
    • Preload purchases of lift tickets, rentals online prior to your visit.
    • Your preloaded card will serve as your lift ticket, and you can proceed directly to the lift and avoid the ticket lines.

What We Expect of You

  • Please stay home if you are feeling sick or are exhibiting symptoms of illness.
  • Masks are recommended indoors, on Town shuttles, and when social distancing with others outside of your travel group is not possible.
  • Wash hands thoroughly and often.  Sanitizing stations are also available around the Resort when hand washing is not feasible.
  • Respect capacity limits for indoor spaces, including stores and restaurants.
  • Practice social distancing, allowing six feet of space between yourself and others outside of your travel group.
  • Please adhere to all signage and guidelines while visiting.
  • Please avoid congregating in common areas whenever possible.
  • Please respect employees at all times, including while enforcing COVID-19 related regulations.
