Mountain Bike Park

We're Now Open!

The Mountain Bike Park at Brian Head Resort, with its combined chairlift and shuttle service, gives riders access to over 100 miles of the most scenic and exhilarating mountain bike trails in the country. To access the major area trailheads, use the Resort’s chairlift service, or stay and play in the park on one or all of our diverse trail options. Our lift-served terrain accesses beginner to advanced level trails. Start small and work your way up to more challenging trails and features.

The Resort is known for it’s gravity fed single track, terrain parks, and back country access. Our terrain parks include jumps, drops, walls, ladders and other natural and man-made features. These areas require varied degrees of skill level. This ever expanding and centralized terrain park network includes Ken’s Woods, Stef’s Steps and Malicious Woods. All are accessible from the lower parts of Color Flow, Timberline, Lil’ Gritty and Wildflower. Back country trails accessible from the chairlift include Aquarius, Bunker Creek (available June 30th – conditions permitting) and Marathon.

Brian Head Resort is excited to announce that it has broken ground on a significant phased improvement program to our existing lift-served downhill mountain bike trail network. The Resort has partnered with the legendary trail building experts at Momentum Trail Concepts to create a modern, world-class lift-served trail experience. Momentum is excited about the potential of the unique topography Brian Head has to offer.

Phase One of the project will involve top-to-bottom improvements to the Resort’s existing Color Country intermediate trail. Upon completion, Color Country will be transformed into Color Flow, an easier, modern flow trail spanning approximately 3.5 miles. The Resort plans to have the trail completed and ready to RIDE by mid July in time for its First Annual Rock ‘n Ride Festival on July 14th & 15th.

Updates on Phase Two & Three  of the project will be posted as soon as plans are finalized, and will most likely involve the modernization of the Z-Line and Timberline trails.

The Forest Service is also in the process of improving the famous back country trails Bunker Creek and Dark Hollow. Their current plan is to have one fork of Bunker Creek completed and available to riders by July 4th. We will continue to monitor their efforts, and will inform our riders of their progress as information becomes available.

The Resort is committed to informing our guests of these and other exciting Summer developments as soon as plans solidify. Please don’t hesitate to comment or ask questions on our new Brian Head Resort Mountain Bike Park Facebook Page.
