Brian Head Resort is just minutes off of Interstate 15 near Parowan, Utah. Whether you are driving from Southern California, Las Vegas, or Utah the drive is easy with beautiful views.

Getting Here

By Air

Flights in and out of Las Vegas make unforgettable vacations happen. Combine the Entertainment Capital of the World with The Greatest Snow on Earth and you’ve got a fantastic vacation! You can also fly directly to nearby Cedar City or St. George,  Utah. Upon arrival, a rental car will be needed to drive through the canyon to Brian Head Town due to no public transportation offered for canyon travel.

By Car

In Southern Utah, take Interstate 15 to exit 75 in Parowan, then it’s just a short 14-mile drive up the mountain to Brian Head Resort.

Cedar Breaks Scenic Byway (Hwy. 148) and Rim Road (the road through the park) are closed during winter months.

Please note no public transportation or buses up the canyon are offered at this time. Please be aware of the weather and road conditions. Traction devices are required by UDOT during severe winter weather conditions on roadways throughout Utah. Warnings or restrictions will be shared via UDOT.

Approximate drive times from the following locations are:

  • 3 hours from Las Vegas
  • 7 hours from Los Angeles
  • 7 hours from Phoenix
  • 5 hours from Flagstaff
  • 3.5 hours from Salt Lake City
  • 8 hours from San Diego
  • 1.5 hours from St. George
  • 1.5 hours from Bryce Canyon
  • 1.5 hours from Zion National Park
  • 35 minutes from Cedar City

Town Shuttle Travel

Brian Head Express Shuttle is an independent shuttle service that offers daily round-trip shuttles from Cedar City to Brian Head Resort, as well as charter transportation to area hotels, cabins, and condos. Running for the 23/24 season from November 10th through April 14th.

Town Shuttle Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday | Daily – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Friday, Saturday & Holidays* | Daily – 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
  • Night Skiing | Fridays, Saturdays & Holidays* – 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

*Shuttle Holiday Schedule:

  • Christmas: December 16th, until January 1st
  • New Year’s Eve the shuttle will run until 2am
  • Martin Luther King Jr.(MLK): January 13th-15th
  • President’s Holiday: February 18th-21st
