300 Inches & Counting!

powder shot

Brian Head Resort is well on its way to an above-average season of snowfall! The resort has seen continual snow storms through the month of February, and has already hit the 300-inch mark with two months left in the season! The resort usually gets hit with approximately 320 inches of snow for the entire season. Getting to 300 inches this early is especially exciting.

Brian Head Resort has been repeatedly blanketed with fresh snow. The skiers and snowboarders have had the time of their lives on the mountain this year. We love seeing the community enjoying Brian Head’s beautiful tree runs full of untouched snow.

As of lately, we are seeing nightly precipitation, regularly leaving anywhere from 6-12 inches at a time! This past week, OpenSnow recorded 48 inches on the mountain. Brian Head Resort locals, visitors, and even employees can be seen enjoying our biggest powder days.

We would like to extend a major shoutout to all of our employees, especially those who work outdoors, for all of their hard work. From clearing parking lots before dawn to preparing the mountain during blizzard-like conditions, we appreciate all you do to provide access to the mountain. If you see an employee out on the mountain, be sure to give them a huge thanks!

Remember the earlier you buy lift tickets, the more you will save! If you’re planning a trip, be sure to check the forecast so you can plan accordingly. If you want powder or blue skies, spring is the best time of the year to get the best of both worlds. You can stay in the know by checking OpenSnow, our snow report, or even the Brian Head Instagram. All updated daily!
