May 9, 2024 – Today, Mountain Capital Partners has just changed the landscape of winter sports in the Southern Hemisphere and has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of La Parva Ski Resort – MCP now operates two of the three ski areas in the renowned Tres Valles, establishing the most skiable acreage in the southern hemisphere. Meet La Parva
La Parva Ski Resort, located in the Chilean Andes and interconnected with MCP resort Valle Nevado, La Parva offers diverse terrain with an easy-to-access interconnected system of lifts and trails. Together, these two resorts offer a combined total of:
- Nearly 5,000 acres of lift-served terrain
- An additional 200,000 acres of backcountry skiing
(this can be accessed on skis or by helicopter) - 30 lifts
- 84 named trails
- A maximum elevation of 12,041 feet with a base elevation change of 3,281 feet from the base of La Parva to the summit of Valle Nevado
- 3,057 feet of vertical at La Parva and 2,657 feet of vertical at Valle Nevado
