Snow Making Improvements
Mountain Operations: Ever wonder how ski resorts have loads of snow at the start of the season? Well, our team works hard to ensure you have an awesome skiing experience. Mountain operations have been super busy setting up snowmaking efforts.
We’ve been zapping lines to ensure water flows throughout the mountains for your runs. The water flows through the pipelines so when the snow guns, including some new ones, get connected to the pipes, water can flow through and mountain operations can make the snow!
Safety Improvements
Ski Patrol: At the top of Chair 2, Giant Steps Express, we enhanced the ski patrol shack for better visibility and broader space to warm up for guests when absolutely needed. With new insulation and a new ceiling, this is the perfect place to warm up.
We prioritize guest safety when skiing or snowboarding at Brian Head Resort. Enhanced ski patrol stations aim to ensure all feel safe and cared for on the mountain.
Rentals: Behind the scenes of rentals involves more than you might think. During the off season, we do things to ensure everyone’s safety when they rent from us in winter. We keep track of every pair of skis to make sure any tricks or learning falls happen as safely as possible and you’ll pop out only when necessary.
The rentals team also makes sure to check all snowboards and skis for any dents, gauges, or whatever else needs fixing.
