Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun and friendly competition at the Cardboard Sled Race! Taking place on April 5, we’re inviting you to show off your creativity, team spirit, and sledding skills on the lower end of the Race Course, Giant Steps Side. Whether you’re building your dream sled or just cheering from the sidelines, this event promises laughs, thrills, and memorable moments for all.

Event Details & Schedule:

• Date: April 5
• Location: Lower end of the Race Course, Giant Steps Side
• Schedule
  • 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: On-site registration and sled check-in
  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Sled races
  • 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Awards Ceremony

What to Expect:

Participants will race down our specially prepared hill in sleds they’ve built using only cardboard and tape as materials. The focus is on having fun, so get creative with your design! Whether you go for speed or style, there’s a chance to take home a prize.

Awards Categories: Prizes sponsored by Skiing is Easy, YETI, Spy+ and Brian Head Resort swag.

• Fastest Sleds (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place)
• Best in Show (most creative design)
• Best Crash (spectacular wipeouts in good fun!)

Rules:

• Sleds must be made entirely of cardboard and tape.
• Helmets are required for all participants.
