Kids Lessons
Built for Young Learners
First Tracks | Ages 3-6
Private • 1-on-1
Any Ability Level
One-on-one instruction, fully adapted to your child’s level. The half day and 2-hour sessions give more room to build real skills. A 1-hour lesson works best for a narrow goal (like a first chairlift ride) rather than a first-ever lesson.
This program’s full time and pricing options live on our Private Lessons page. Learn more about ages 3-6 private lessons →
Tiny Tracks | Ages 5-8
Small Group (Max 3) • Ski Only
Best for Ability Levels 3 & 4
Small classes for kids who can already make controlled wedge turns, get their skis on and off, recover from a fall, and safely ride Chair 6. Lessons progress onto Chair 4, and sometimes Chair 1. Not quite there yet? Our Ages 3–6 private lesson above is a better starting point.

Mountain Explorers | Ages 7-12
Group • Ski or Snowboard
Best for Ability Levels 1 – 4
Group lessons by ability, available in 2, 4, or 6-hour sessions, ski or snowboard. Kids this age often overlap in ability with the 5–8 group — we’re happy to help place your child at the right level.

Looking for a Private Lesson for Ages 7 & Up?
Private • 1-on-1
Private Lessons are available for ages 7 and up, and can include 1 to 6 people total — great for an older kid who wants 1-on-1 attention, or a family learning together.

Rescheduling & Cancelations
Brian Head Resort reserves the right to retain a $25 fee for group lessons and/or $50 fee for private lessons rescheduled or canceled within 48 hours of lesson date. Within 48 hours of the ticket or lesson purchase, you are eligible for a 100% refund paid to the payment device used to purchase your lift ticket or lesson. Tickets and rentals are not refundable or transferable on the date valid. After you make your purchase, up to 11:59 pm MST the day before your arrival date, you may defer your ticket or rental and receive a credit in the US dollar amount of your original purchase unless fees are applicable.
Credit can be used for lift tickets and rentals. Credit will be provided electronically, as made available in an online account.
Credit amounts will be based on the ticket purchaser’s actual purchase price, less insurance, if applicable. If you use your credit on a ticket that is more expensive, you must pay the price difference between the credit and the new ticket.
The Resort does not guarantee parking, road conditions, weather conditions, snow conditions, open terrain, number of lift operating or facilities/services available. Inclement weather routinely affects daily operations and can cause delays and closures at any time. Refunds and credits will not be issued for tickets, rentals, lessons or tubing due to inclement weather or unforeseen interruptions to daily operations.
