Wednesday Feb 18: The first storm on Monday night brought joy back to winter. This second set of moisture landed at Brian Head with another 10″ of snow last night along with a restored hope everything will be OK. Our Marketing Web Camera shows a little less than 10″, but you can expect deep snow in wind protected areas near trees. High winds last night and wind speeds forecasted up to 40mph are forecasted out of the South this morning and will continue to load up the norther slopes on the mountain with deeps snow. temps will stay in the teens with windchill lows in the negatives. Along with cold weather protection, bring your surfboards and water skis ’cause we’ll be surfing powder all day. If you need extra gear head over to the lovely folks at the Navajo Retail Shop.
