Bring the sunscreen for another warm warm and mostly sunny day. Don’t break out the swimsuits just yet as winds will be 15-25 today keeping a little chill in the air. Temperatures did not get below freezing last night so the corn will not be ready to harvest for a while. Snow conditions will be firm in the morning and soften up fast as the sun hits it. Head over to the tech shop to get your skis and boards waxed because this afternoon will bring those sticky icky conditions. While the peak and side country look temping, friendly reminder that the avalanche danger will be very high this week because of the massive storm slab that is sitting on a variable snow pack. Best to stay off of high angle terrain and ski with a partner and a plan. Or better yet stay in bounds. If you have questions about out of bounds access gates and avalanche conditions and hazards, pop in to talk with Ski Patrol at the top of Giant Steps Express or Roulette lifts for additional information.

All lifts are open, providing access to 100% of our terrain. Both the Kodachrome Terrain Park at Navajo Mountain and the Giant Steps Terrain Park are closed today due to heavy snowfall and will be open as soon as possible.
