Firing Up The Snow Guns

This week marks the start of an exciting mountain update, snowmaking at Brian Head Resort! The snow guns are out and making snow. To gear up for early ski season, we have significantly increased our snowmaking capabilities. This expansion translates to greater access to early-season terrain for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, subject to suitable weather conditions. Provided that the natural cold weather persists, our enhanced snowmaking efforts will enable us to accelerate the availability of trails at the onset of the season. With a substantial investment of over $500,000 in upgrading our snowmaking infrastructure, we are dedicated to elevating the skier experience by ensuring improved early-season snow conditions and a dependable base.

More Chairs, Less Time In Line

To enhance the efficiency and capacity of our chairlift system, we have successfully added additional chairs to Giant Steps Express and Navajo Express. In preparation for opening day, this week saw a notable improvement, as we proactively worked to elevate the overall skiing experience. This expansion increases our lift’s overall capacity, allowing more skiers to reach the slopes, reducing wait times, and enhancing the overall skiing experience. This translates to less time in line and more time enjoying the slopes.
