Today’s
Report
We dodged the rain and squeaked out two inches of snow yesterday. Conditions will be a little deceiving this morning with those two inches of fresh fluffy snow sitting on top of a frozen snowpack. Dust on crust some might say but the groomers will be velvety soft and grippy. Today will be abundant with sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 30s which will soften up the off-piste terrain quickly as the day progresses.
Now on yo the elephant in the room…I’m almost scared to say it…OpenSnow is saying 23 inches snow is coming Thursday and Friday! I see some sick days coming up…
Ryan S, Ski Patrol
While the peak and side country look temping, friendly reminder that the avalanche danger will be very high this week because of the massive storm slab that is sitting on a variable snow pack. Best to stay off of high angle terrain and ski with a partner and a plan. Or better yet stay in bounds. If you have questions about out of bounds access gates and avalanche conditions and hazards, pop in to talk with Ski Patrol at the top of Giant Steps Express or Roulette lifts for additional information.
All lifts are open, providing access to 100% of our terrain and both terrain parks are open
