Join us in Brian Head for an adrenaline-filled day of thrilling competition, community fun, and unforgettable memories! SkiJoring Utah, presented as part of Brian Head Town’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, is a one-of-a-kind FREE event that combines Utah’s iconic ski heritage with its deep-rooted cowboy spirit.
What is SkiJoring?
SkiJoring Utah is a high-energy experience where horse and rider pull a skier through a challenging course packed with jumps, gates, and rings. Competitors race against the clock for cash prizes and bragging rights, bringing energy and excitement you won’t want to miss. It’s fast-paced, wild, and absolutely spectacular!
Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, SkiJoring Utah is the perfect excuse to get outdoors, meet great people, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Brian Head.

Schedule of Events
- 11 AM: Professional SkiJoring exhibition to kick off the day.
- Midday: Division competitions commence, with skiers and riders battling for top times and prizes.
- Final Hours: The public gets invited to take part in this thrilling activity.
- At Dusk (6:30–7 PM): Cap off the evening with a spectacular Drone Show by Bristlecone Pond/Park.
Note: The Drone Show is weather permitting, so cross your fingers for clear skies!
Parking Information
For the safety of participants and horses, please follow all directional parking signs when arriving at the event. Convenient parking spaces will be clearly marked and accessible, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic and a secure environment for everyone. Event parking is not offered by the resort. Please use the event parking that is in close proximity to the event.
